Recently, Hebei ProvincialDepartment of theScience and Technologyannounced the list of“2022InternationalScience andTechnologyCooperationBases in Hebei Province”. The "Hebei International Joint Research and Development Center forModernAgriculturalBiotechnology"(The Center)recommended byHEBAUwas successfully approved.

The Center, relying on scientific research teamsof College ofLifeSciencesand College ofHorticulturein HEBAU, has carried out close cooperation with foreign universities and scientific research institutes such as John InnesCenter and Cambridge UniversityinUK.It willcarry out agricultural basic research and applied basic research in key fields such as agricultural genome, biological manufacturing and molecular breedingand jointly cultivate high-level young agricultural leading talents and aworldfirst-classteaminmodern agricultural biotechnologyinnovation,for the purpose ofbeingbuilt into an international scientific and technological cooperation base in the field of agricultural biology with international influence.
