On March 10,ClarivateAnalyticsupdated ESI data, andChemistryof HEBAUentered the top 1% of ESI(theglobal ranking system)for the first time.The statisticaltime spanis from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2021. There are 670 WOS papers inChemistry ofHEBAUcited 9076 times in totalwith a frequency of 13.55 times.Chemistrybecomes the third discipline in HEBAU entering 1% of ESI after Agricultural Sciences and Plant&Animal Science.

In recent years,HEBAU continues tostrengthen the top-leveldesign of discipline construction and highlight the leading role of discipline construction. It has enhanced linkage of departments and implemented the iniative to improve the level of ESI discipline by introducing and developing high-level talents in a targeted manner.It advances cooperation with high-level universities and research institutes at home and abroad, takes NSFC programs as incubators for high-level paper output, encourages faculties to pay more attention to frontier research and hot issues of ESI disciplines for high-quality academic papers output and continuously improvement of the level of ESI disciplines.
