On October 17th, the opening ceremony ofthe“Seminar on High Quality Development of Cross Border E-commerce of Food Distribution under the Global Development Initiative”,aforeign-aidtrainingprogramsponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and undertaken byHEBAU, was held in Baoding.24 scientific and technological professionalsfrom Myanmar, Uganda, Cambodia, Türkiye and Cuba participated in the training. Professor Zhang Lijie, President ofHEBAU, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Khin Soe Soe Sanfrom theMinistry of Rural DevelopmentinMyanmardelivered a speech as a representative of theparticipants.

Thistrainingcourseis the thirdforeign-aidtrainingprogram undertaken byHEBAUthis year. Participantswill learn about the theory and practiceaboutfood industry and food e-commerce trade of Chinafrom multiple perspectives, understand China and experience Chinese cultureviaprofessional lectures, case studies, seminar exchanges and field visits.Since 2004,HEBAUhas organized 34 short-term training programs and 2 degree education programs, training 889 students from 80 developing countries in Africa, Asia, South America, Eastern Europeand Oceania.
